BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Complete these steps before your installer arrives. Skipping them is the most common cause of delays or incomplete installations.

Check your door and share pictures

  • Review our installation guide to determine whether your door frame requires any extra parts before the Tasker arrives.
  • If you have a unique or decorative trim, you might need a wooden wedge or custom corner caps.
  • If unsure, upload or email your top frame pictures to us so we can ship custom hardware in advance.

2. Get the app ready

  • Before your installer arrives, download the SmartSlydr app and create your account.
  • Have the app open and ready to pair when the Tasker is done with the physical mount.

3. Remind your Installer

  • Ensure the end brackets and corner caps are mounted properly with screws before the Tasker considers the job done.
  • Ask them to perform a full calibration sequence — run 3–5 open/close cycles — before they leave.
  • Save all unused accessories and packaging until you've confirmed everything works correctly.
