Warranty
Standard 1-Year Limited Warranty (Included)
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with our published user documentation for one (1) year from the date of receipt. Normal use is defined as an average of 30 operations per day or fewer.
If a covered defect occurs and you return your covered device to us within the warranty period, we will, in our sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law:

Repair it using new or refurbished parts, or
-
Replace it with a refurbished device of equal or better functionality.
If we repair or replace your device, it will continue to be covered under this warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period (it does not restart).
This standard warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
For warranty service, customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to us. We will pay for standard return shipping of the repaired or replacement product back to the customer. For the packaging and shipping, please refer to the sections below.
Extended Warranty Options (2-Year and 3-Year)
At the time of purchase, you may have the option to upgrade to an extended warranty for your device:

2-Year Extended Warranty (Total 2 Years of Coverage)
Extends the standard warranty coverage period to a total of two (2) years from the date of receipt. -
3-Year Extended Warranty (Total 3 Years of Coverage)
Extends the standard warranty coverage period to a total of three (3) years from the date of receipt.
Unless otherwise stated, the Extended Warranty:

Provides the same type of coverage as the standard 1-year warranty (defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as defined above).

Follows the same repair/replace remedy: we may repair with new or refurbished parts or replace with a refurbished device.

Is available only for new purchases and must be purchased at checkout (or within any separate window we may clearly specify on your order page).

Is tied to the original device and original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Refundability of Extended Warranty

If you return your device for a refund within the 30-day product return window, any Extended Warranty purchased for that device will be cancelled and refunded in accordance with our general refund rules (excluding any non-refundable third-party payment processing fees).

After 30 days from the date of receipt, Extended Warranty purchases are non-refundable, even if you stop using the device, transfer it, or otherwise no longer need coverage.
If your device is repaired or replaced under the Extended Warranty, the replacement device will be covered for the remainder of your extended coverage period (2 or 3 years total from the original date of receipt, depending on the plan you purchased).
What Is Not Covered (Standard and Extended Warranty)
Both the standard 1-year warranty and the Extended Warranty do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, or accidents; use outside of normal operation (more than 30 operations per day on average); damage due to improper installation, failure to follow our step-by-step instructions, or use with doors or windows outside our recommended specifications; water or liquid damage of any kind (including but not limited to spills, splashes, high humidity, condensation, or immersion in liquids); normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage (including scratches, discoloration, or other cosmetic changes that do not affect function); damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications; damage resulting from third-party accessories or components not approved by us; damage caused by improper packaging when returning the device; or any damage occurring after the warranty or extended warranty period has expired. If any of the above conditions apply, shipping costs (including return shipping) are the responsibility of the customer.
Original Packaging Requirement
Please retain the original packaging. In the event that your device needs to be sent back to us for repair or replacement under the standard or Extended Warranty, we require the original packaging to be used.
If the device is not returned in its original packaging, a repackaging fee of $20 will apply to cover the cost of materials needed to package the device for safe shipping.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time before it ships. To cancel your order, please contact us at support@LycheeThings.com.
If you cancel your order before it ships, you will receive a full refund minus any third-party payment processing fees. Third-party payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Return Policy
You may return any purchase from us within 30 days of receipt for a refund, subject to the following conditions: shipping charges and any third-party payment processing fees are non-refundable; the product must be unopened, in its original packaging, and undamaged to qualify for a full product refund; returned items that have been opened or used are subject to a minimum 20% fee; if there is any sign of wear and tear or scratch marks on the device, the refund amount will be determined according to the condition of the product; products returned without original packaging and accessories will be subject to additional fees; we cannot be held responsible for products damaged or lost in return shipment, and we strongly recommend using an insured and trackable shipping service; and we are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the product.
Extended Warranty Refunds:

If the product is returned and refunded within the 30-day return window, any associated Extended Warranty will be cancelled and refunded (excluding any non-refundable third-party fees).

After the 30-day return window has passed, Extended Warranty purchases are non-refundable.
